Projects with Impact

Nature Based Solutions

C6 finances, develops, verifies, and monitors nature based projects that include:

  • Reforestation

  • Avoided deforestation

  • Sustainable forest management

  • Agroforestry

  • Biodiversity conservation

Each project goes through a rigorous assessment process to ensure its legitimacy and accuracy of emission reductions.

C6 Captured Projects

Our commitment to local involvement allows us to secure nature-based solutions projects that are of a quality that truly sets us apart. We leverage our deep understanding of the landscape to monitor real-time changes to the forest and to cultivate strong community ties.

C6 finances and develops REDD +nature based projects. REDD + is reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation – these projects aim to sequester carbon in restored and preserved forests.

C6 Captured leadership, on-the ground in Brazil and Paraguay, is currently in advanced discussions to develop nature-based solutions projects for 1.3 million hectares of forest across both countries.

C6 has also begun discussions with landowners over an additional 2.5 million hectares across Paraguay and Brazil.

C6 Captured Carbon Credits

Credits produced from C6 projects are high integrity.

  • Over-crediting risk eliminated due to jurisdictional approach to measuring carbon.

  • Significant buffer reserves are strictly maintained.

  • Projects are permanent - monitoring is rigorous, multi layered, and continuous.

  • Carbon sequestration is more than it would be in the absence of these projects.

  • Local communities are beneficiaries of secondary benefits that raise the standard of living.

The credits we develop are secured using IBM blockchain technology – ensuring process traceability, creating transparency and immutability of the data presented, and generating security for the company interested in offsetting its carbon footprint.
